I have been thinking so much about my brand/niche recently, and struggling with the fact that all the advice out there is that to grown on Instagram, you really need to niche down. And then I saw a TikTok video where the creator was like - what you are interested in, that’s your niche, that’s your unique POV. So yes, if you want to gain followers via the IG algorithm, you do need to niche down, but if you want to cultivate a unique and engaged community, and follower count isn’t your only goal, then frankly I think it’s way more interesting and fun to follow people who have a unique POV and share things across a variety of interests!
I’m absolutely going to try pairing scents with tasks! I too have a candle obsession and I feel like this is a great way to cycle through them while also getting shit done 💪
